Software's seamless microchip data interface service.
Using Shelter Pro's Microchip
Interface Service, animal
services organizations doing microchip implants are
able to streamline the registration process that occurs with the microchip
provider. Shelter Pro customers enter microchip data directly into Shelter Pro,
then Shelter Pro automatically transmits the registration data to the microchip
provider.
This eliminates the need for the following:

In addition to entering microchip
information into Shelter Pro, your staff will no longer need to spend time registering each microchip with the provider via website,
faxing a completed form, mail, etc; |

Asking/expecting pet owners to
register a chip after they take their pet home. Their information is already
in Shelter Pro, so Shelter Pro can pass this information to the microchip
provider! |
| When a microchip record is
later updated on Shelter Pro for common things, such as change of
ownership, the update is also automatically sent to the microchip provider
so their records are also updated. |
This service can be
fully automated in Shelter Pro to auto-transmit the data at a regular scheduled
time each day
Once the data reaches the provider's
server, their process will take over and post the registration data to their
database. Data posted will include:

Microchip ID, type, effective
date; |

Owner name, address, phone, and
email address; |
|
Pet name, species, breed, gender,
color, and photos (assuming the provider posts photos on their database). |
Fees
Fees are charged for each new
microchip posting. Based on our agreement with the microchip provider,
they may cover the fees which means no cost to our customer base. Otherwise
the fees are paid by the Shelter Pro customer.

SmartTag microchip Pet Protection and Recovery System
With a SmartTag
microchip, a pet is protected with today's highest level security.
