Main Menu - Accounting

The Accounting Module is designed to keep track of the monetary postings that are processed by the other modules in Shelter Pro as well as Shelter Pro Portal. The module is found under the main menu item titled Accounting. The module includes the following major event types:

  • Charge records - such as charging a person's account with a balance due;
  • Payment records - posting a payment to a person's account, usually to pay a person's balance due;
  • Deposit records - typically a deposit is run daily and is used to reconcile and report the day's accounting activity.

Charge Selections

  • Charge View displays the Charge View window for working with an individual Charge (data entry, review, print, etc.).

  • Charge File Cabinet displays a window for searching/retrieving Charge records.

  • Reports-Charges displays the report generator for printing Charge registers.

Payment Selections

  • Payment View displays the Payment View window for working with an individual Payment (data entry, review, print, etc.).

  • Payment File Cabinet displays a window for searching/retrieving Payment records.

  • Reports-Payments displays the report generator for printing Payment registers.

Deposit Selections

  • Deposit View displays the Deposit View window for working with an individual Deposit (data entry, review, print, etc.).

  • Deposit File Cabinet displays a window for searching/retrieving Deposit records.
