This is a sample person record for Jane Doe. Note that the 'Type' selection is 'Person' indicating this record is for a person/citizen (as opposed to an organization/agency/entity).

Data elements for a person

Name
Mailing Address, Physical Address and Invalid Address indicators
Home, Work, and Cell phone numbers
Email Addresses
Date of Birth and Driver's License number

Check boxes

Donor - indicates the person on the donor mailing list
Volunteer - indicates the person as a currently active volunteer
Mailing List - indicates the person to be on a mailing list
Foster - indicates the person is a currently active foster home for shelter animals
May Not Adopt - indicates the person to be adoption restricted
Disabled - indicates the person to be disabled
Senior - indicates the person to be a senior citizen

Shelter Pro Portal data items

There are also items for each record which are used by Shelter Pro Portal.
This example highlights a person who has not established their portal account. Notice the Quick Account Code value of 27489...13. This person could use these two values to establish their portal account via the website's "Quick Account Setup". The code could be communicated on a mail out (for example receiving a license renewal notice in the mail) or verbally by an animal services employee.

For a person who has established their portal account, notice the "Portal Access" setting:

Allowed indicates the person is in good standing with their portal account and can freely use it as needed. indicates the person on the donor mailing list
Setting this value to Restricted would prevent the person from being able to login to their portal account. This would be used if the need would arise to prevent a particular citizen from using their account and would most likely come about due to inappropriate usage of their portal account.

For a person who has established their portal account, notice the "Email unsubscribed" setting:

Yes indicates the person has chosen not to receive email from the portal.
If this value is No the person has not indicated they wish to unsubscribe from portal emails.
