Bite Case Record - Animal Involved

The animal involved tab will show the animal that committed the bite. Linking the correct animal is important so that the bite record will be kept in the animal's history.

Typically, the linked animal will be:

• One of the animal's linked to an incident's 'animal involved' tab;
• The animal linked to a shelter case

If the correct animal was not linked when the New Bite button was clicked, you can 'unlink this animal', then 'link animal' to find and connect the correct animal from the animal database.
