Incident View - Animals Owned

The Animals Owned tab will show the animals that have their 'current owner' to be the same person as the Incident's designated owner. Remember on the first tab that Jane Doe was our sample owner, therefore this tab will show Jane's animals owned. If no owner is specified this list will be empty.

By default, the list will be ordered by species, descending. Click any of the column headers to resort the list by that column, either ascending or descending.

New Lost button

This short-cut button will cause a new Lost Report to be created under the Shelter Management Module for the selected pet. Note that lost reports are actively monitored against Shelter case records and potential matches are shown the Case View. This is one of the many integration features in Shelter Pro as the Animal Control and Shelter Modules are 'talking' with each other.

Link Animal button

This short-cut button will cause the selected animal to be linked to the Incident under the Animal Involved tab. This is very much like 'drag/drop' functionality but a little quicker.

New Animal button

This short-cut button will create a new animal record with the owner (Jane Doe in our example) to be the current owner. This would be used if/when it becomes known that the owner has another animal that is not shown in the list.
