Citation Records
Citations are posted when a citizen is cited for violating an ordinance. To access the Citation View, from the Shelter Pro main menu select Animal Control, then Citation View.
In many instances, a citation will be linked to an Incident. To learn how a citation can be linked to an incident, see Incident View - Citation.
In addition, citations can be issued that are stand alone. This is done by going to the Citation View and clicking new.
Note that the terminology 'Citation' can be changed in Shelter Pro through a simple customization. It could be called something more meaningful to your department (such as Violation, or Ticket). For purposes of this document, the term Citation will be used.
