Person Event Links

Records on the Person Database will become linked to events and activities throughout Shelter Pro. You will see this link structure very often.

This image shows a link between a Case and the Person Database. Jane Doe was the 'Owner at Intake' for the Shelter Module case in this example.

Notice in this view, we can see that Jane has a balance due of $0.00 which indicates her account has no balance due and no credit balance.

The '+' button will open the Person Database window where more detailed information about the person can be obtained. If there is no link to a person, the More button is clicked to search the Person Database and create a link.

Unlinking a person

The 'X' button will cause the link to the person to be removed. If removed, the name will show as 'Not specified' indicating there is no link to a person on the Person Database.

Links, links, links - they're everywhere!

Here is a sample of a Shelter Case with multiple links to various Person Database records.

Notice the multiple links to this one record. Each one has a different meaning, and all are valid links depending on the circumstances of the event record.
