Animal Record - Medical History
To view the medical history for an animal, click the Medical History tab.
The list
The Medical History will show each medical 'visit' in the animal's history. A medical visit is typically associated with a shelter case. In the screen sample above, note that the animal had a medical visit dated 07-05-2019 which is still an open medical record. 'Open' indicates the medical process is still being actively worked due to a shelter case being currently open for the animal.
One medical visit will have one or more medical items (tests, meds/vaccs, services) which were completed or scheduled while the shelter case was open. These items will be listed under the medical visit and will be indented with '->' to make the items a bit more readable. The items are sorted in chronological order beginning with the most recent event. Each event will show the event date, type, a short description, and other information. If more detail is required, you can view the underlying event by clicking the View record button, or double-click the entry.
