Animal Record - Behavioral Assessments

The Behavioral Assessment tab will show the behavioral evaluations which have been determined for an animal.

The bullet items

These items are predefined in Shelter Pro and cannot be customized. They match typical behavioral items which are shown on websites such as Shelter Pro Portal, PetFinder, and Adopt-a-Pet. These include:

Good with kids
Good with dogs
Good with cats
Housebroken
Special Needs

Other evaluation items

These items will be variable as they can be customized, which allows any Shelter Pro customer to choose any approach to behavioral assessments that they desire.

Other notes about behavioral assessments

Behavioral assessments are printed on kennel cards. Note that this feature can be enabled/disabled at customer discretion using Customize/Shelter Management.

Behavioral assessments are also used in Shelter Pro's 'Pet Match-Adoption Counseling/Pet Screening' feature found under the Shelter Management main menu.
