Case View - Bite Cas

When a shelter pet has been involved in bite case, a bite case should be linked to the shelter case record. This is created by clicking the 'new' button within the bite case section of the Case View. The bite case record will become a sub-record of the case, and will store the content that is specific to the bite event. These include

• the status of the bite case (open, closed, sent to lab, etc.)
• the victim,
• the owner (if known),
• date/time and location the encounter occurred,
• testing and test results determined,
• various notes and narratives about the bite including common items such as an victim's statement, and owner's statement's the aco/investigators narrative, etc.

Tip - Bite Case Print Forms
Click Print Forms to print various forms that are relevant to a bite case. These include a Bite Case Report, predefined letters to the victim, and predefined letters to the owner.
