Customize Animal (Shelter Pro Portal)
The Animal tab
Use this tab to customize functionality for handling features related to updating animal records when a pet owner is logged into their account.
Show add a dog / add a cat
If a pet owner clicks "Add a Dog", this is the next step. They must enter the data for their pet and click "Submit".
Show remove a pet
This determines if a pet owner can update their ownership status for a pet. If set to "No" the "No longer own" choice will not be visible on the pet's profile. If set to "Yes", the owner will be able to designate a reason for the change in ownership status. Here is a sample:
Allow sterilized update
This determines if a pet owner can update their pet's sterilized (aka altered) status. If set to "No" the pet's sterilized status will be visible, but cannot be updated. If set to "Hide", the pet's sterilized status will not be visible on the pet's profile display. If set to "Yes", the owner will be able to update their pet's sterilized status. Here is a sample:
Allow microchip update
This determines if a pet owner can update their pet's microchip id. If set to "No" the pet's microchip will be visible, but cannot be updated. If set to "Hide", the pet's microchip will not be visible on the pet's profile display. If set to "Yes", the owner will be able to update their pet's microchip. Here is a sample:
