Shelter Pro Portal

Shelter Pro Portal (aka the Portal) is an add-on product for Shelter Pro Software which provides customers with an independent, dedicated website for local citizens and pet owners to interact with animal services. The portal is unique in that it operates with a real-time connection to your Shelter Pro database. This powerful feature provides the greatest level of service integration possible as there are no lags, delays, wait-times, etc which are common hurdles for other systems that don't integrate with a real-time connection.

Here is a high-level list of features available:

A stand-alone website solely dedicated to your organization;
Self-publishing, customizable web pages. There is no need to depend on a third-party “webmaster” to update the site. You can update the site directly, and we’ve made it easy;
Adoptable pets are updated real-time. There are no delays in pets showing up on the site;
Stray/recovered are updated real-time. There are no delays in pets showing up on the site. So a pet owner can self-monitor to see if their pet is found by your organization;
Owner self-service features. As is common with web services, your citizens can establish a secure account and perform self-service updates to basic data elements such as their name, phone numbers, address, email address;
“Add a pet”, “Update a pet” functionality. Owners can add a new pet to their account, or update an existing pet’s profile. This includes uploading a pet’s photo;
An owner can report their pet as lost. The portal will automatically notify them of any pets received which are potential matches. Optionally, a citizen's lost pet report can be made visible to public on the site as well;
Online pet license/registration purchases. This includes the ability to upload required documentation as needed, such as a rabies certificate, sterilization certificate, and/or microchip certificate;
Owners can print a license/registration certificate for their pet;
Citizens can pay outstanding citations online;
Citizens may donate online;
