System Structure

The system consists of six primary components, commonly referred to as modules. These include:

• The Animal Control Module
• The Shelter Management Module
• The Animal Identification Module
• The Donations Module
• The Traps Module
• The Accounting Module

Integration

Integration is a big focus in Shelter Pro. While each of these modules can be used independently, the most benefit is realized when they are used together. In everyday use, these modules 'talk to each other' which makes the user experience very robust and easy. Some initial examples include animal control records being linked to related shelter records and/or citation records and/or bite case records and/or a pet's license/rabies vaccination records. More about integration will be discussed as you dig deeper and learn about the key features of each of the modules.
