Donations File Cabinet
For an overview of File Cabinets and their usage, click File Cabinets
To look up existing Donation Module records, from the main menu, select Donations, and then select Donation File Cabinet. You will use the Donation File Cabinet search features to locate and work with previously created records.

The records can be searched and retrieved by specifying an almost unlimited number of combinations of search filters.
- Type (i.e.: Monetary, pledge, food items, fundraiser, miscellaneous, gift in kind, etc.) - Limits the search results to the specified donation type. The donation types are customizable to the orginazation's needs.
- Value - Limits the search results to donation values and can be sorted by less than, less than or equal to, equal to, more than or equal to, or more than the specified value.
- In Kind -aka non-monetary - Limits the results to donations with the selected "Gift in Kind/Non-Monetary" checkbox.
- Confirmation Notice - Limits results to donations that have or have not had confirmation notices printed.
- Known Email. - Limits search results to donations where the donor has a known email.
- Donation Date - Shows donations that were made between the date range selected.
- List Donations Made By - Shows all donations made by the selected person.
- Location - Limits search results to donations made at the specified facility.
Results list
The results of a search, including the count, will be shown in the results list.

To view a donation record, select the record in the list, click view record, or double-click the record in the list. The donation record will be loaded and will pop up on the screen.
Tip - Sorting the results by a column
Notice that the results list can be sorted by any of the columns by clicking the column header.
Resetting the filters
Use Reset Search to clear the search filters back to empty values. You can then re-enter search filters to start a new search.

Batch Forms

Batch Forms will allow you to print a group of forms, one for each record in the results list, and in the order of the results list. When the button is clicked, you will select the form(s) to be printed, and click the Print (or Preview) button. In our example, using the Batch Forms function would result in printing 10 forms.

Here is a sample of the donations Forms menu. The selected forms will print in the same order seen in the File Cabinet view.
